I bought this package for my son who used to play when he was younger, but drifted away from it for a while. It really is a great package for the price and the quality was quite surprising. The amp is more than sufficient for practicing, but he can also crank it up a notch(which he likes a little too much). He is able to transport it to and from school where he uses it for band practice with the included gig bag. I would say this set is at least worth another hundred dollars or so. Very pleased we didn't have to pay that much though thanks to Pricegrabber.

i got this guitar for christmas and it is awesome for the money. the amp puts out great sound for its size and the guitar is easy to play. a must own for beginners.
